Daniel is a Lead Advisor for retirement plan sponsors who maintain 401(k) plans, cash balance plans, church plans, or similar retirement vehicles for their organizations. As an ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY ANALYST™, Daniel consults retirement plan sponsors in fiduciary best practices, prudent investment process, plan design, and participant education.
Daniel also serves as the Retirement Plan Analyst for Fiduciary Services and coordinates the technical details involved in establishing, converting, and managing client retirement plans. He works closely with plan sponsors, administrators, record-keepers, and custodians to ensure that retirement plans are properly implemented.
He also works with the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence in conducting CEFEX Fiduciary Certifications for other investment advisory firms. A CEFEX Certification is the independent recognition of a fiduciary’s conformity to a Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence.
Daniel graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society. Since joining Cornerstone Capital Advisors in May of 2008, Daniel earned his ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation in 2009, and his ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY ANALYST™ designation in 2011.
While not in the office or visiting clients, Daniel likes to spend his time with his wife and their four children. He and his family are heavily involved in the local Scouting community.
